About us
Hi, I’m Lydia, and I started FlOra Botanical Skincare out of a love for natural remedies and the simple belief that what we put on our skin should be as pure and nourishing as what we put in our bodies. I also believe God has given us plants for healing and restoration, and it’s a joy to use His creation in a way that cares for the bodies He has given us.
The name FlOra brings together two beautiful ideas: “Flora,” representing the beauty and healing power of plants, and “Ora,” a Hebrew word for light. Together, they reflect our belief that God, in His wisdom, created plants to bring healing and restoration. Our products are a small way of honoring that gift—using what He has provided to care for the skin and nurture the soul.
It began in my own kitchen, experimenting with herbs and oils to make gentle balms for my family and friends. I saw how well they soothed dry skin, eased irritations, and brought comfort—and I wanted to share that same care with others.
